The first attraction was the so called “Treasure Vault”. It contains a themed exhibition about salt with different types of interactive exhibits. For example a salt mixer to learn about the composition of salt or a salt microscope to dive into the molecular structure.

The second attraction is the “Salt Lab”. Here visitors see a physical 3D model of the mine which provides them with spatial orientation and context on where they are located. A precise projection of individual animations onto a scale-model explains the complete tunnel system of the mine-shafts.

Last part is this underground mirror lake, which we enhanced with an LED installation. Visitors silently take ab boat over the lake while being fully immersed by an artificial sky of growing salt crystals that are reflected in the surface of the lake.
